“Roller Coaster Ride Of Weight Loss” (Crystal M’s Blog)

Ok ladies. A lot of you can relate to wanting to lose weight, especially with summer right around the corner. Bikinis and high heels lol. I know we all have our ups and downs when it comes to getting that beach body. I recently joined a weight loss challenge at work and so far it’s really helping. I already lost 4 pounds and I’m 12 pounds away from my ideal weight. But it’s a constant struggle when my motivation level is way down. Have you ever felt that way? Like you want to work out but not alone? Beause after a while you get bored with solo workouts and you want another person to talk to and push you when you’re ready to give up.

And dieting. Oh man. I have been eating turkey sandwiches and veggies. Boy, am I getting burnt out. I want sweets and meat lol. I splurge once in a while but I mainly stick with the sandwiches. I’m thinking of doing a whole week of just oatmeal. I know it’s gonna be hard but I have Oat Revelation oatmeal and it’s pretty good. But a whole week of it? It’s going to be kind of hard.

So ladies, what have y’all tried when it comes to dieting? I recently began Zumba and, OMG, I love it even though my body movement and foot coordination sucks. I’m still gonna continue to go, though. It’s fun and I really do think it’s helping, especially in my legs.

The challenge at work will be over on March 16th. So hopefully by then I’ll have dropped more than just 4 pounds. I can’t wait to see how much I lose. I’ll keep y’all posted on my final results. I’d love to hear how y’all lost your weight and, for those getting ready to shed them pounds, I would love to hear your plans on how you’re going to do so.
Who knows? Maybe together we can motivate each other and get to where each one of us wants to be. Move yo’ body, shake them hips, sweat your a*s off. lol

When it comes to eating healthier one has to be more creative. For example you can do the one week oatmeal for breakfast, by adding various fruits and spices or changing up how you consume it …like making an oatmeal apple and honey shake….its really good, the key is mixing it with water not milk….and on hot oatmeal adding dried fruit instead of sugar is a good way mixing up the first meal of the day. Also adding powder cinnamon or sticks can help too…also try fresh berries with a bit of honey…in your turkey sandwich you can change up your spread …try avocado mashed up…or a low fat dip …instead of mayo…if you like spicy put some jalapenos…you can also roast some red or yellow peppers and add between your meat ….watch our for turkey though some brands have a lot of sodium…

    Hope these tips help
